The journal provides an intellectual platform for scholars, critics, and researchers engaged in literary and cultural studies. It seeks to advance critical inquiry by fostering dialogue across diverse theoretical, interdisciplinary, and comparative approaches to literature, culture, and related humanities scholarship. The journal publishes original research articles, review essays, and book reviews. It does not publish creative works such as poetry, fiction, or drama. The journal’s primary areas of interest include Folk Literature, Cultural Studies, Film Studies, Environmental Humanities, Ecocriticism, English Literature, and Literatures in English. It also welcomes studies on literary works originally written in other languages, provided the primary texts are available in English translation and the analysis makes a significant contribution to contemporary literary and cultural scholarship. Submissions should be theoretically informed, critically rigorous, and analytically engaging. Authors are expected to situate their arguments within relevant scholarly debates, demonstrating the originality, relevance, and contemporary significance of their contributions. Book reviews should only be on recent literary works (books published more than 2 years ago should not be chosen for review).
